I am a freelance graphic designer based in Compton, CA. I started designing from a young age with basic pencil and paper drawings, sketching, painting. Since then I have gained experience in art education, graphic design, and photography. She is the creator of The Marvelous Adventures of Busy Bri. Sharon is a graduate of Cal State Dominguez Hills in Carson, California, majoring in graphic design with a minor in digital arts. Sharon worked as an advocate and curator for black art’s in Los Angeles, organizing, cataloging art archives and art collections.

She played a extensive role in overseeing gallery designs along with creating large scale wall graphics at the California African American Museum in Los Angeles. Sharon has worked with children and adults in the arts for over 20 years, creating structured art workshops for all walks of life, using art to create therapeutic environments for the mentally disabled and troubled youth, Boys and Girls Club and after school programs. She continues to work as a freelance graphic designer, her work is often viewed in the many projects in the Los Angeles area.

Sharon has always had a love for teaching art, how to be creative and finding a love for the art world. Her children's books reflect her own experiences. As a mother herself she understands the need for family to serve as positive role models in the lives of children, it is conducive to growth and learning. Sharon has combined her love of family and art into writing and illustrating children's books.  Follow her on social media.
